UCBAAPT Scholar Series is a wellness and training program to promote individual strengths and support navigation of microaggressions and imposter syndrome, establishing career connection activities to prepare Scholars’ transition to practice, and working closely with community partners to help Scholars secure employment in Health Professional Shortage Area (HPSA).
- The series of workshops and/or activities will be offered ~twice per quarter with a focus on wellness, resilience, retention, avoidance of burnout, and transition to practice.
- UCBAAPT team will identify current Wellness resources available through UCSF Student Health Services and UCSF Campus.
- Past Scholars will be invited to join panel workshops as role models to share their experience, and a Post-Graduation Scholars group may be created to sustain a community of Scholars.
- Scholar Series wellness activities will be open to the larger student population as well as faculty and preceptors, as applicable, to best support the overall wellness culture within the SON and clinical sites.
