UCBAAPT Project Administrator 

Jody (she/her/hers) is heavily involved in mission-driven nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area that address several cultural and systemic conditions among historically vulnerable and neglected communities because as an Oakland, CA native with family roots from Pampanga and Ilocos regions, she seized opportunities to enhance her knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in others’ livelihood. In 2016, she received her BA in American studies, with an emphasis in Public Health and Education at the University of California, Berkeley.

Currently, Jody serves as our Project Administrator for the HRSA ANEW Underserved Coalition for Bay Area Advanced Practice Training (UCBAAPT) and Project Analyst for the subcontract with the East Bay Consortium Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship within the UCSF School of Nursing (SON) Family Health Care Nursing department. Jody initially joined the Pandemic Initiative for Equity and Action (UPIEA) department within UCSF Institute for Global Health Sciences as a Pandemic Response Specialist and Public Health Specialist from 2020-2023. Prior to her three years at UCSF, Jody worked with various local community clinics including Women’s Community Clinic / Lyon Martin Health Services, North East Medical Services, and Alameda Health Consortium.
