Welcome to the Underserved Coalition for Bay Area Advanced Practice Training (UCBAAPT) program!

Lead by the Family Health Care Nursing department within the UCSF School of Nursing and in collaboration with the UCSF Philip R. Lee Institute for Health Policy Studies (IHPS), the Underserved Coalition for Bay Area Advanced Practice Training (UCBAAPT) is a training program to prepare UCSF advanced practice nursing (APN) students from varying graduate-level nursing speciality programs to deliver primary care (including prenatal care as applicable), address social determinants of health, health equity, and needs of medically disadvantaged populations in the Bay Area.

The UCBAAPT program is supported and funded by HRSA Advanced Nursing Education Workforce (ANEW) program.
